Once in a lifetime, we meet a kind, loving pair ,

Their passport for life is the sweet love they wear .

They love to live, and live to love ,

And make friends their richest treasure trove .

I first met Rita in the third grade , you see , Since then, we’ve been inseparable, like a flower to a bee .

While Buddy I met as my brother Marks’ schoolmate,

Would you believe Rita and Buddy were each other’s prom date ?

Through all of life’s winding roads, the long and the fast

This friendship was built on a foundation to last .

The miles never kept our hearts far apart , Always connected from the very first start .

This trip, all of us travelled like emperors, on the move

Their own will to wander they always prove

Our favorite is the Hotel dela Coupole in Sapa’s highlands

Whimsical and nostalgic, by architect Bill Bensley’s wand .

The couple said that climbing Fansipan via cable car ,

Was one extraordinary excursion, the best one so far .

They’ll bring their children here next time , And enjoy family coming together like a sweet chime .

Another highlight was the spectacular heated pool, a marvelous sight ,

With bright chandeliers , giant Greek god statues and such dazzling lights

See women mosaics in 1920’s bathing suits, one of a kind

A unique vintage vision for the couple to find .

They also loved the sexy bathroom in the comfort of their room , Overlooking the courtyard, where fragrant flowers bloom .

At the farewell dinner, Buddy brought a sweet cake for our bday boy Benny

As we enjoyed our wonderful gastronomic fare ,

We took a moment to say a quiet, heartfelt prayer ,

And thanked God for our families and the love we all share .
