There is a lady whom I admire,

Whose heart holds a love of life, a magnificent fire .

She makes her own dreams come true , And with unmatched generosity, helps others, too .

Many times I shared my travel book dream , And she handled the tasks with that wonderful, knowing gleam .

Beautiful inside and out , she summons the best in you , Kindly thinking of your welfare—this is profoundly true .

She wrote the amazing book “Food Holidays,” The best book in tourism gastronomy, a success she truly claims . Yet remains humble and modest , regardless of any fame ,

She loves to nurture budding food entrepreneurs , a purpose so high , Extending a vital hand to the youth and seniors nearby .

We recently journeyed to Conrad Maldives with my sister Yvonne and brother Mark’s family ,

Below the waves, the bright fish swam so utterly free .

The underwater restaurant Ithaa and the underwater villa Muraka , amazed her, a rare and grand sight ,

She found pleasure in all activity in that paradise land of light.

Her spirit’s flame will never truly die

She lifts you up and shows you how to take to the sky and fly .

With deep wisdom in her heart and kindness in her soul

She plays a vital, unforgettable, guiding role .
