A revealing journey between Hanoi and Sapa

Hanoi and Sapa Sapa Hanoi the morning sun still wraps Even if it is veiled by clouds, us in a whimsical feeling of warmth. Such a feeling stays like a soft whisper that never quite fades away. As the poets and artists would say, even if the sky is quiet, the world still sings. And this thought carries us as we travel between Hanoi and Sapa—not just to witness the stunning views, but to truly experience the luxury that this journey offers. Our adventure begins in a limousine van, a sleek, high-tech vehicle that feels like a first-class experience complete with Wi-Fi and Netflix, and even with a massage seat built into the vehicle. It’s hard to believe that we are just traveling between two points. It feels almost like an exclusive retreat on wheels. Every detail is all about comfort with a touch of indulgence, making the journey as luxurious as the destination. A beautiful scenic flight over Sapa, Hanoi, and Hoi An is enjoyed as one savours the Vietnamese countryside on the road en route to Sapa. We become aware of how rare it is to experience luxury travel of this sort—for it is almost a gift.

Entering the lobby of Hotel de la Coupole was like walking into a living artwork. Creative spaces were filled with vibrant colors, opulent fabric, and elaborate decor all blending to give an eclectic atmosphere that makes the establishment feel lavish and refined. Every corner of the hotel holds a story, waiting to be discovered by those with open hearts and curious minds. Each space felt like an adventure of its own. That’s what makes this hotel truly special: the serene peace within, perfectly intertwined with the surrounding nature. In an unexplainable way, you can sense here an inner calming peace because it has been intently designed to synchronize with the landscape, truly allowing you to relish what theVietnamese highlands can offer in the most luxurious sense.

As we bid farewell to the hotel and make our way to the funicular station—conveniently connected to the property—a new adventure begins. The funicular ride, both comfortable and scenic, carries us up the mountainside, offering panoramic views of the terraced rice fields below. As we ascend higher, the landscape begins to shift, humbling us with a reminder of how small we are in the grand scheme of nature. At the top of the funicular, we step out to board the cable car going up—closer now but still not quite at the summit of Fansipan.

Under the bright sun at the top of Fansipan, the crisp mountain air fills our lungs while clouds drift by. It is indeed a place that makes one feel even closer to the earth. It is something that one cannot describe, being lifted up with sky-high breaths of fresh air while being surrounded by the vast expanse of nature. It is a humbling yet exciting feeling.
