LIPA CITY — A recent cultural and tourism gathering in Lipa City highlighted the city’s flagship tourism campaign, #EatPrayLoveLipa, celebrating the rich intersection of cuisine, heritage, faith, and leisure.
The event featured a personal narrative from the author, who shared her holistic Lipa experience—sampling local dishes, leisurely walks around the city, and moments of prayer at San Sebastián Cathedral, one of the city’s most historic landmarks. The cathedral is also known as the wedding site of Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos and Batangueño statesman Ralph Recto.
The program was graced by Lipa City Mayor Eric Africa and attended by advocates and patrons of culture, arts, and travel. It was organized by the Lipa City Tourism Council, chaired by Joel U. Peña, in partnership with the Lipa City Tourism Office, led by Aylene G. Acorda.
The gathering was further supported by local food partners MIKABELLE’s Kitchen, Lomi King, and Ijo Bakery, courtesy of Big Ben Complex.
The event underscored Lipa City’s positioning as a destination where eating well, meaningful prayer, shared adventures, and leisure are best enjoyed with loved ones.
