Mirror mirror on the wall.
Who is the fairest of them all?
Just came from the Maldives , South Africa and my mom’s home Capiz — each a heavenly place,
Where palm trees kiss the wind with effortless grace.
No one, not even the sea or sky,
Could take away the peace it brought inside.
The sunsets burned gold, then melted to blue,
Each evening a painting, each moment felt new.
We dined with the fishes beneath and the animals from our vehicle in tow
In a surreal world , where time moved slow.
I learned to love life the way I know.
