The Siam Bangkok

From the time my eyes laid sight

On the colonial-themed lobby—black and white,

Accented by bright fuchsia-grown orchids

My heart skipped a beat.

As I was led to my seat,

The refreshing scented towel in fresh verbena

And a welcome drink—ice-cold added to the drama

Passionfruit and coconut juice, so lovely Truly the best setting . Inspired by architect Bill Bensley

Traipsing through the lobby to the open-air path,

Lined with giant travelers palms on a black marble walk.

Water gently flowing on all sides below—

A moment in awe. Each step aglow
