Rayavadee and me, contented in glee,
We rode the tractor to the boat from the shore,
With the limestone cliffs as witness —
Who could ask for more?
Nowhere else on earth is a place like this.
We thank the good Lord for tropical bliss.
To the lagoons and verdant trees so fine,
I am just one of those who say: “Thank you, sublime.”
Not a foot on the ground gets wet, you see,
Not a wave, a strand of sand, a branch, or a tree.
My family smiled and laughed so loud —
Music to my ears, this happy sound.
For this is what only matters, it’s true,
Seeing your loved ones, witty and new.
My dreams are no longer dreams, as forces can see,
In Heaven and earth — no place like it —
My Rayavadee and me.
