There is a heavenly winds pound against the sharp, craggy cliffs, the expansive pasturelands, and stunning turquoise oceans. Here one can appreciate the diverse natural beauty, jagged mountains, steep fjords, and pristine trout-filled lakes, raging rivers, and active volcanic zones. Here, one embraces the infinite pulse of adventure through Mother Nature’s role that seems preserved and conserved far beyond words. After all, this is one place that is better experienced than explained. This paradise is New Zealand. To me, it is God’s prayer on earth. The people of New Zealand call it God’s own country. A land in which nature’s creative forces are still awesomely at work, New Zealand can truthfully be described as one of the world’s last unspoiled countries.

There are so many highlights here in New Zealand. Enjoy the exhilarating Kawarau Bridge Bungy in Queenstown. This is the world home of Bungee, birthplace of the adventurous spirit that has shaped this town’s character and one of the most famous attractions in New Zealand. Nestled on the shores of beautiful Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown is framed by the Remarkable mountain range. The town sits 310 meters above sea level. Alpine scenery, lakes, rivers, and a variety of contrasting environments can easily be accessed and enjoyed. Queenstown was a gold mining camp in 1860 and has a compact and sophisticated downtown area tucked around the picturesque bay.

We took the Southern Discoveries Cruise, which is committed to selling its services in Queenstown and Fiordland. Southern Discoveries recognizes the importance of preserving the natural environment and is hugely committed to the protection of the fjords, flora, and wildlife through the Sinbad Sanctuary project, in partnership with the Department of Conservation and Fiordland Conservation Trust. We cruised in comfort as we occupied the VIP lounge where we were served a delightful buffet lunch. The catamaran design means there is room for a group to stand at the most forward point of the vessel for optimal wildlife viewing and to get up right under the waterfalls. It was a fun-filled moment we will always remember.

Visit historic Cromwell and try their local fruits. We met Mrs. Jones, the lady who owns the most fabulous fruit orchards and fruits that she sells to the world like peaches, kiwi, pineapple, papaya, sun-dried tomatoes, yoghurt, cranberries, candied walnuts, and much more.
