As we embark on new the paths that will lead us to our divine destiny. After all, the great American writer John Updike once said: “Dreams come true; without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.” Since time immemorial, humanity has celebrated life with much participation from the vineyards—the source of what we know as the nectar of the gods, liquid sunshine or bliss in a bottle. The bubbly and sparkling brews derived from grapes have complemented the meaningful occasions and milestones of our existence.

The vivacious vineyards bathed in crimson sunlight glisten as one approaches the winding road that leads to the luxurious Auberge du Soleil: the crown jewel of Napa Valley. Celebrating over 40 years of epicurean excellence, its Michelin-starred restaurant continues to be the toast of the town. In the sublime fashion of Relais and Chateaux, the chefs are habitually elevating fine dining into an art as they transform each dish into a culinary gem. From the time that Junipero Serra brought in grapevines from Mexico in 1782 to this place for sacramental wine, much has delightfully evolved here.

The Auberge du Soleil is a Garden of Eden where everything is beautiful like the praise berry, abundant and evidently a testament to the Mighty Gardener who is pleased to witness human beings responsibly assume His role as stewards of His land. And as the sun rises and sets from the vantage point of the Auberge, we can surmise that each day of caring for the vines and the lifestyle and tradition of fine cuisine, wine, and service that was created over 40 years ago will continue for many more generations to savor.
