Her favorites include exploring the vast safari camps across Africa, marveling at the mighty Victoria Falls in Zambia and Iguazu Falls in Patagonia, soaking in the rooftops of Tibet, breathing in the serene beauty of Jungfrau in Switzerland, and basking in the tropical paradises of the Philippines and Maldives.
Lately, she’s been captivated by the posh and whimsical hotels created by architect Bill Bensley, such as the InterContinental Danang and Hotel de la Coupole M Gallery in Vietnam.
Guided by the wisdom of her parents — Milagros Salgado Dayrit of Roxas City, Capiz, and Vincent Paterno Dayrit of San Fernando, Pampanga** — who said, “Choose a job you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life,” Christine lives by their words.
She travels to live and lives to travel, embracing the beautiful madness of the unknown.
